Fishing Strength: Shallow water, either flipping a jig or pitching a spinner bait
Favorite Lake: I prefer fishing TVA lakes, Douglas, Watts Bar, Guntersville and Kentucky lake being my favorites. I also enjoy fishing for small mouth on Dale Hollow. in the winter and Kentucky lake in the summer.

- Fishing all my life, my wife had a photo enlarged of me dragging a stringer of catfish when I was 4 or 5 with rod in one hand, catfish in the other.
- Tournament fishing since 1978
- 40 1st place tournament finishes when you count club and opens
- 10 Top 10 major tournament finishes, including a second place finish in the state championship federation that earned a spot in the BASS Lake Wylie Regional
- 3 years as a fishing guide for Musky right after college - one of the hardest job imaginable
