Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World radio will feature the young guns of conservation and how they’re working right now to make a difference. Joining host Rob Keck is Bryan Burhans, deputy executive director of the Pennsylvania Game Commission, and Brandon Butler, executive director of the Conservation Federation of Missouri. The show will air Saturday, September 6 at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Eastern time on RURAL RADIO SiriusXM Channel 80.
Burhans, former CEO of the American Chestnut Foundation, outlines how that organization has made progress in bringing back the American Chestnut tree. In addition, he talks about the many different hunting opportunities that Pennsylvania has to offer and his agency’s role in managing Keystone State wildlife resources. The Conservation Federation of Missouri works to better the state’s natural resources and Butler covers how advocating for sensible conservation legislation regarding clean water, hunting opportunities and wildlife management is one way the organization accomplishes its mission.
Each week, Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World draws upon outdoor experts from across the country to provide listeners with the latest information about hunting, fishing and wildlife conservation.
