Howell Leads St Johns River Elite

Livingston Lures pro and reigning Bassmaster Classic Champ Randy Howell banged the bass hard today. Last minute heroics produced a limit weighing 27 pounds 3 ounces, enough for first place after Day 1 at the Elite Series event on the St. John’s River out of Palatka, FL. There is a tie for second. Both anglers brought in 24 pounds 1 ounce.

Hite Leads Elite on Seminole

Pro Brett Hite leads the Elite Series field heading into Championship Sunday at Lake Seminole

Brett Hite pulled out the whooping stick today, bringing in a limit weighing 26 pounds and 5 ounces for a three-day total of 71 pounds, 11 ounces. Hite leads his closest competitor by 9 pounds, 12 ounces.

Although that sounds impressive, that's just one bite on Lake Seminole.

In second is Pro Mark Davis whose three-day total weighed 61-15.
