In addition to his work with Conservation Visions, Mahoney is a former Chief of Wildlife Research of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, as well as a prolific writer and speaker, having written more than 100 popular articles that have been featured in 24 print magazines. His work can be seen regularly in “Sports Afield” magazine, and he has been host and narrator for a variety of radio and television efforts and has collaborated with the BBC and National Geographic to produce award winning films.
