According to a news story on WSFA.com, an Alabama hunter credited an extractor pump for saving his life after a rattlesnake bit his leg.
Chad Cross of Mongtomery County, Ala., told WSFA that he was bit by a timber rattlesnake while turkey hunting in March. Luckily the hunter had with him an extractor kit. He used it to extract the venom and then seek help.
