Braggin' Board Photo: Hiking On the Appalachian Trail
My son Charlie and I just completed 50 miles on the Appalachian Trail with Boy Scout Troop 15 of Madison, MS.
We endured several inches of rain as we climbed up and down over fifteen hundred feet each day. Unlike many of the other hikers, Charlie was the only hiker with RedHead Trekker lll waterproof boots and RedHead pro team crew socks. Many of the other hikers had more traditional hiking boots not typically sold at hunting stores. And, also unlike most of the other hikers, Charlie's feet remained dry.
We just wanted to provide you this feedback. You have a tough product that made the rocks easier and the rain tolerable. We stayed wet most of the trip but my son's feet stayed dried and protected with these boots and socks.
I would put these two combinations against any others at twice the price.
