Braggin' Board

This picture is from New Years eve on Pickwick lake.  This was 28 crappie taken tightlining jigs on break lines and tops 20-25 ft deep in major creeks.  Fish were caught on 1/16 bass pro jig heads with bass pro tubes in the glowtreuse color.  Past few weeks, have caught up to 60 on same colors and patterns, but due to recent rains and fresh water, the fishing was down some, but still very fun.

This is some excellent spotted bass caught on Pickwick around the 15th of december.  These were caught on small curly tail grubs about 12 ft deep on a current seam line.  A total of about 40 spots were caught that day, but these are just a few.  In the picture is cole walker and his grand dad Ted Walker.

Here is a picture of my 15 year old son, Cole Walker with 2 bass caught last week (christmas week) on Pickwick.  Fish are starting to move to winter places at mouth of pockets and deep points.  Fish were caught on Yumbrella rigs with money minnows.  Best 5 weighed about 27 pds.
