Younger bird weighed 22 pounds. Had a 11 1/8 beard and 1 1/8 spurs. He was taken Sunday of opening week. Now other bird i got this year is my oldest and biggest by a long shot. He weighed over 26 pounds. Had 1 3/8 spurs and 10 1/2 beard. I have longer beards but his spurs and body mass if really amazing. I called a friends first gobbler in also. It was nice for a first tom. 22 lbs, 9 3/4 beard, 1 inch spurs. Very successful spring season in Polk and Dallas county for me. Hope the streak lasts forever

called him and another boss from a open field about 250-275 yds to my south . Took a hour and lots of discipline. It was almost 11 when I harvested this bird.Â

Chads first ever bird. Called them within 12 yds of the set around 9:45. 22 lbs, 9 3/4, and 1 spurs. Nothing like the first time a strutting/gobbling tom comes in that close to put the hammer on.
