The Smallest Fish but the biggest smile

I took my kids fishing for the first time. I generally fish saltwater but took them to a local lake. My older two got bored pretty quickly. The youngest, Payton, was determined to catch a fish. The bitting was nearly non-existent. As we were preparing to leave he landed was must be the smallest fish in NC! Lol. One of the proudest Dad moments I’ve had. He casted the line on his own, and made the catch on his own! I’ve learned that it’s not the size of the catch that matters, but the amount of time you spend enjoying your children! Onward and upward!
